The ‘Cheri’ actress struggles to maintain her slender figure when she is not working and hides herself away between roles so she can eat whatever she wants.

When asked the secret to her beauty, she said: “Hard work. It requires incredible discipline. You have to accept it. If you want to be fit, one cannot eat like a pig, and must exercise. That’s the way it is, and I hate it. There is no miracle cure, and no secret diet.

“Between the films I let myself go, actually. I look different – but I hide it. And I’m good at hiding.”

Michelle turned 50 earlier this year and although she was initially worried about reaching the milestone age, it passed comfortably and she is content after accepting she is in the “second half” of her life.

She added to Germany’s Kurier newspaper: “I wasn’t happy about turning 50, it is kind of a stigma for women. But it came, it passed, that’s it.

The former model – who first posed for the adult publication at the age of 22 – insists she never felt exploited by the magazine’s founder Hugh Hefner when she stripped for pictures and was always comfortable in his company.

She said: “It felt like a real family environment. Once I got to know Hugh Hefner I saw that he was, in fact, a real supporter of women. Playboy wasn’t exploitative at all and it was my decision.”

The 44-year-old star also revealed she was encouraged to flash her flesh by her mother who thought it would help make her more feminine after she was approached to pose while working as a waitress.

She explained to the Daily Star newspaper: “My mom was supportive – she told me to go for it. I was always a tomboy and she thought it would be good to look back on one day.”

Despite her initial reservations, Pamela soon grew increasingly comfortable with her body.

She explained: “They started off just doing a little lingerie, a little slip up the shoulder, a little this, a little that, but pretty soon I was walking around completely naked and they had to stop me before I went outside.”

Leona Lewis is frightened to go out after being attacked by a schizophrenic fan.

The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer – who was punched in the face by Peter Kowalczyk as she signed copies of her autobiography ‘Dreams’ on October 14 – was left “devastated” by the attack and fears she will be assaulted again.

In a witness statement read out in a London court yesterday (14.12.09), she said: “Now I’m very frightened about going out in public.

“I don’t know where the next attack will come from and if this will be more serious than what has happened.”

The 24-year-old songstress suffered swelling to her face and whiplash after the 29-year-old man with mental health problems attacked her at the Waterstone’s book store in Piccadilly, Central London.

Kowalczyk was in the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London yesterday where he admitted assault and was sentenced by judges.

After telling the courtroom he hadn’t taken his medication prior to the attack, magistrates ordered Kowalczyk to stay in hospital under the Mental Health Act – where he will remain indefinitely.

District Judge Howard Riddle told him: “This is what happens when you don’t take your medication. A woman is now devastated.”

Kim Kardashian’s sister Kourtney is a new mom – the reality TV star gave birth to a baby boy on Monday morning (14Dec09).

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star gave birth to Mason Dash Disick in Los Angeles. He’s the first child for Kardashian and her boyfriend Scott Disick.

Kardashian, 30, re-united with her ex-fiance, 26-year-old Disick, in August (09) after learning she was expecting.

Her spokesperson confirms: “Kourtney just delivered a healthy baby boy.”

The ‘Kill Bill’ actress reportedly split from French financier Arpad Busson because she was tired of him trying to take over her life and telling her what to do.

A friend of the actresses told the New York Daily News newspaper: “It seemed like he always wanted to run the show.”

The relationship allegedly turned sour when the 47-year-old businessman decided he wanted to make drastic changes to Uma’s lavish homes without even consulting her.

The friend explained: “He wanted to bring in his own chef and his own security. He’d talk about redesigning her house in the city and knocking down buildings at her place upstate.”

It had been reported that the couple ended their year-long engagement almost two months ago after a fight about money.

Uma – who has 11-year-old daughter Maya and seven-year-old son Levon with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, and was also previously married to actor Gary Oldman – recently admitted she wasn’t ready to marry again.

She said: “I’m happily engaged but we haven’t set a wedding up. I’m not in a rush to do anything.”

The 22-year-old actress, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in the movies, is grateful for the opportunity because people are now interested in her talents.

Although she is happy with the attention she has gained from her performances in the movie series, Ashley admits some of the films’ hardcore fans can be tough to deal with.

He said: “As an artist you’re greater in your absence than in your presence. Everyone liked Michael Jackson more the week after he passed away than the week before. Maybe they’ll like me more when I’m gone. I’d definitely like to be remembered as a great artist.”

Despite his forays into business and movies – the hip-hop star can currently be seen in British gangster film ‘Dead Man Running’ and has signed up to appear in a reimagining of classic tale ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ – 50 insists music will always be his first love.

He told the Observer Magazine: “I’ll always be a rapper first and foremost. I may generate more money from my business deals away from rap, but without the finances acquired from being successful as a hip-hop artist, what money would I have to invest? I spend my time in competition with myself rather than other rap artists. But it’s hard to compare how you felt when you sold 12 million copies of your first record to now.”

The ‘Atonement’ star has reportedly been visiting London’s Halcyon Gallery to be painted naked by artist Mitch Griffiths for a new exhibition.

A source said: “It’s considered a great honour to be painted by Mitch. He is a highly respected nude painter and is painting a number of subjects for a new exhibition next year. He is delighted Keira decided to take part.”

The 24-year-old actress – who is widely considered to be one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women – is currently starring in play ‘The Misanthrope’, which is running in London’s West End theatre district.

In the production, a modern-day version of Moliere’s 17th Century comedy work, Keira plays a vacuous Hollywood starlet.

The pair – who have rekindled their romance after splitting up in 2006 when the actor had an affair with his children’s nanny – are so “in love” they are now looking to buy a new London pad early next year so they can be together all the time.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Last week they put the wheels in motion to live together again.

“They have told staff that they are in love and will be moving back to London in the spring and they will be living together as a couple once again.”
