Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow are not friends on new US TV show ‘Cougar Town’.
Lisa – who played Pheobe Buffay in ‘Friends’ alongside Courteney’s Monica Geller – stars as a mean dermatologist in the series who treats Courteney’s character Jules.

COURTENEY COX has halted production on her new TV series COUGAR TOWN while she tends to a “family matter.”
Cox, who is married to actor David Arquette, stars in and serves as executive producer on the comedy, which has been temporarily put on hold as she sees to the undisclosed issue.

Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox have both signed on to star in roles playing  middle-aged women who chase younger men (cougars).  Aniston will star in the romantic comedy, Pumas, and Cox will star in Cougar Town.  Cougar town is set to air later this year on television, while Pumas has not yet started production.
